Workshops in 2012: Creating Portraits That Tell a Story
I just updated my website with my workshop schedule for Spring 2012. I am looking forward to teaching at Westminster Presbyterian Church for the third straight year and Henne's Art Supply in Ohio for the second year.
My workshops are geared to artists of all abilities who are interested in expressive realism and contemporary portraiture. My goal is to show students that a portrait is a painting first, so concepts of good design, composition and values are always presented in the workshop.

Peggi Habets is an award-winning watercolor portrait artist. Her studio is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but she
works with clients around the country. Her life-long interest in art and a
15-year career in graphic design and illustration have all led to her
current career as a portrait painter.
