New watercolor painting, "Disquiet"

This is the newest painting for an upcoming group show called, "Beauty. Strength. Reflection." The show will run during April at Shaw Galleries, located in heart of Downtown Pittsburgh’s Cultural District during the Spring Gallery Crawl. The other 4 women in the show are incredibly talented figure and portait artists, all working in different styles and/or media. It promises to be an exciting show. Now back to work!

That is just gorgeous. And I just got my copy of Watercolor magazine and I opened it up to the section of winners for their competition and I saw your painting there! Congrats! :)

This is really beautiful! I love the drama vs soft sensuality. It's nice to find something really developed here on a blog. Lately it feels filled with quick works.

First saw this painting on your homepage, and immediately realized that your technique is strong. And well, every painting, if it is not good, then it is excellent.

:) Cheers.
