Watercolor Artist Magazine, February issue

I received my February issue of Watercolor Artist magazine today and my painting, "Recollection", is featured on page 28. It won second place in the Watermedia Showcase Competition and they included a nice article on it.

Bill Vrscak, a fellow artist and friend from Pittsburgh, is featured in the magazine as well. Bill is one of the great watercolor painters of our time and I am honored to be in the same magazine as him (although on a much smaller scale!). I have taken several workshops from him and each time I amazed by his ability to instruct and inspire. He is truly one of the best.

Congrats!
I've recently just bought my first color watercolors (I've been experimenting with just shades of black) and your art is very inspiring.

I was thrilled to see your painting featured when I opened up the new magazine issue this week. I remembered stumbling upon your blogpost showing the portrait a few months ago. The woman's resonating beauty really struck a cord with me, and I am so pleased that your sensitive work is being recognized. Congratulations!!
