A Few More Figures from Life

Tuesday night figure drawing sessions are always a good punch in the arm, creatively speaking. These pieces are mixed media, with charcoal and conte pencil over watercolor washes.

From top:
Audacious Dinner", conte pencil over watercolor, 11 x11
Midday Regrets", conte pencil over watercolor, 14 x 11
"Melancholy Morning", charcoal over watercolor, 14 x 11

Peggi, I think the watercolor washes also add emotion. The feelings evoked by the red wash are so different from the feelings of the yellow wash, for example. And I don't think the pose has made much of that difference. Beautiful work, as always!

Oh wow! Peggi, I am now one of your fans. I am an art student in Australia and have been so inspired by your figurative sketches on wash. Thank you.
