Figure Sessions...and Vacation!

A few more figures from our Tuesday night figure drawing sessions. I used charcoal and Conte pencil over a wash of watercolor on Arches hot press. I have a few paintings for my elderly series and group figure show in the works but nothing to post yet.

I will be in San Francisco with my family next week for some play time, so things will be quiet here for a little while. Hope you all have a great summer!

wow, I really like these over the washes. How long do you get to work on these? Just really nice work.

Peggi, your figure studies are so beautiful. I have nearly given up figure drawing, but I see your work and think I should go back.
