Announcing the Opening of Double Door Gallery

Double Door Gallery, formerly Watercolors Gallery, is celebrating its grand opening on Friday, October 17. The cooperative gallery is comprised of 18 artists, including myself, who work in watercolor, oils, pastels, ink and mixed media. It is located in Carnegie, Pa, right next to Phil Salvato's 3rd Street Gallery.

What makes Double Door Gallery so different is that, in addition to the wide array of fine art on the walls, we will be introducing creative ventures every Wednesday evening that go beyond the visual arts. Live music, open studios, meditation and more. To find out more, go to Double Door Gallery.

Our website is still being worked on, but if you would like a complete listing of October events, leave a comment and I'll forward it to you.

Thanks Vikki and Manon. This gallery is a little different than most, with the variety of Weds. evening events scheduled. Wish you were closer, you could check it out in person!

You just live way too far away. How exciting to be a part of such a wonderful art and creative endeavor. Good luck and congrats!

Hi Miss Peggi,
Take a read of the blog I just posted. It's about online art theft.

Karine, I feel fortunate to have this great netowrk of artists to share space and time with.

Viki,
Yes, I read your blog on theft and have added to my growing list of things to do: resize artwork. Thanks for sharing your information.

Vicki and Randy,
Your blog is great, and as I said, I am so jealous of your workshop with Charles Reid. I'm glad it's going well and I've enjoyed reading about it.
