Three Rivers Arts Festival in Pittsburgh, Pa

Downtown Pittsburgh is hosting a 10-day festival of visual art, music, food and live performances including Swoon and Splash. Swoon is performed by an Australian troupe through a whirlwind of dance and movement on 12 foot high flexible poles. The vibrantly costumed couples tell a spectacular story of love, loss, joy and freedom from up on high.

Dancing in the fountain? How cool! Splash is an urban water ballet performed in the fountain at PPG Place. It features Pittsburgh's premier modern dance company, Dance Alloy, and includes music from Gregorian chants to rock and roll.

I stopped by yesterday and the Arts Festival is better than ever this year. Don't miss it!
